The Fort Calhoun Post 348 Junior Legion baseball team won the George P Johnson tournament in Valley last weekend. The Pioneers beat Waterloo-Valley, Arlington and Elmwood-Murdock Nehawka to do it with Sam Genoways claiming MVP honors. The team is Jeff Pringle, front row, from left, Carter Christensen, TJ DeMilt, Chase Premer and Kenny Wellwood.
