The Blair tennis team competed on back-to-back days to start the week.
First, the Bears won four of the five singles matches they played Monday against Omaha Roncalli. Then, on Tuesday, coach Dallas Roach's team went 0-for-9 against Elkhorn.
BHS' Abi Rothlisberger and Hayen Bosanek combined for all four wins against the Pride. Rothlisberger won back-to-back singles matches 6-0, while Bosanek earned a 6-0 and a 6-1 singles victory.
The Bears' closest matches against the Antlers, however, were 8-3 losses.
“Very good Elkhorn team,” Roach said.
Mallory Dreher dropped her singles match 8-3, while also playing alongside Shelby Kain to fall 8-3 to an Antler pair.
Blair was scheduled to play Bennington on Thursday and next competes Thursday, May 5, at Omaha Skutt.
