It’s May and time is winding down on the 2022-23 school year of Washington County sports.
Let’s enjoy it while we can.
The latest Nannen & Harte Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week are Greta Galbraith, Jack Bang and Ely Olberding (who I, apparently, need more track photos of because the one above is from the cross-country season). Here’s what these three standouts have been up to.

Greta Galbraith, Blair track and field: The pole vaulter is now tied for fourth in BHS history after a 10-foot attempt at the Eastern Midlands Conference meet. The personal record was good for second place after she earned four-straight gold medals earlier this season.

Jack Bang, Arlington baseball: The Eagle hit a go-ahead homer during his team’s first-round, 6-5 district win against Maxwell-St Pat’s. The senior finished out the victory with a team-best two hits and two RBIs.

Ely Olberding, Fort Calhoun track and field: The Pioneer swept the Louisville Invite’s 1,600 and 3,200-meter runs in 4:56.88 and 10:35.61, respectively. The victories propelled FCHS to an invite win with 111 team points.

The best of the best in Washington County did it again. Keep your eye on enterprisepub.com/sports for all of your high school sports coverage.
