Washington Co Board of Equalization The Board met at 10:00 am on Wed, July 19, 2023 in the Supervisor’s meeting room at the Courthouse in Blair, Nebr. Present: Chairman Steve Dethlefs, Co Board Members, Jon Stewart, Bob Frahm, Kevin Barnhill, and Steven Kruger. Absent: Jay Anderson and Lisa Kramer. Also present, Co Clk Barbara Sullivan, Co Assr Robin Andreasen and Dpty Assr Lacy Johnson. Board unanimously approved the agenda for 7/19/23. Clerk said the Property Valuation Protest Form 422 for each protest filed, along with the referee’s recommendation and any other information the property owner supplied as a record of the proceedings, is on file in the Co Clk’s office. William Kaiser, Kaiser Appraisal Services, is the referee that met with people filing a property valuation protest. The following protests were considered: Dave Artip (TL 21, 35-18-11) Owner was present and spoke. Board unanimously concurred with the Referee & Assr to value at $234,795. David Vollmer (W1/2 SE1/4, 1-19-9) Owner was present and spoke. Board unanimously concurred with the Referee & Assr to value at $389,890. David Vollmer (N1/2 NE1/4, 12-19-9). Board unanimously concurred with the Referee & Assr to value at $478,925. Deborah Carlin & Sharon Kava (Lakelnd Ests Lot 8, Blk 20 2nd Add). Owner was not present. Board unanimously concurred with the Referee & Assr to value at $283,200. Ryan Chappelear (TL 16, 6-17-10) Owner was no present. Board unanimously concurred with the Referee & Assr to value at $506,105. Patricia Weberg (HV TL 78, 30-20-11) Owner was not present. Board unanimously concurred with the Referee & Assr to value at $52,525. Board voted unanimously to concur with the Referee & Assr’s recommendation and approve all signed waivers dated 7/19/23.
