Imogene Clements, age 94 of Blair, passed away on Oct. 4, 2026. Memorial services will be held Oct. 27, 2026 at 10 AM at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 9 AM at the church. Private graveside services will be held at the Blair Cemetery. Imogene was born in Blair on Jan. 8, 1932, to George and Zelda (Miller) Reeh. She grew up on a farm south of Blair with her parents and siblings, Arlene and Richard. After high school she worked at Mutual of Omaha until Wilbur Clements proposed. They were married a week later, and headed to Biloxi, Miss., where Wilbur was stationed in the Air Force. During his service they lived in Biloxi and England which enabled them to travel Europe. After his service, they moved to Arlington then Blair where Wilbur taught school and coached numerous sports over the years. Imogene worked at West school in the reading program until her retirement. Imogene loved to sew Barbie and doll clothes, clothes for her own family and curtains to decorate their home. She loved to go to garage sales and host her own garage/bake sales with friends. Many of her garage sale finds were for the children of West school. She made sure if anyone came to school without warm clothes, they would have coats, mittens and hats. If they needed clean clothes, she would always have a ready supply for them that they could wear and keep. In her later years she loved to read and share books with her friends, make monkey bread, quilt and crochet potholders, bottle covers and mug rugs and give out word search puzzles. More than anything Imogene made sure her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were safe and happy. She was always sending cards, letters, newspaper articles and of course, word search puzzles to stay in touch. After Wilbur passed in 2017, many family, friends and neighbors made sure she had rides to events and meetings. Kent, Lori and Sheri really appreciated everyone that could be there for her when they were unable to be in town. Imogene is survived by her children Kent (Ann) of Kansas City, Lori (Isam) of Colorado Springs, Sheri (Kirk) of North Liberty, Iowa. Grandchildren John Clements, Mary (Preston) Weeces, Julia Clements, Elizabeth (Ben) Habel, Isam Itson IV. Great-grandchildren Ryan & Emily Clements, Henry Weeces and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur, parents, sister Arlene Peterson and brother Richard. In lieu of flowers please direct memorials to the Blair School Association or the Blair Rescue Squad. Services by Campbell Aman Funeral Home, Blair, NE. www.campbellaman.com
