Ann Marie Anderson, 73, of Blair, passed away Sept. 29, 2026, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Memorial services will be held Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. A celebration of life will follow the memorial service at The Depot in Lyons Park.
Ann was born on Oct. 11, 1952, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Beverly Denetelli. She was raised in North Omaha and attended North High School. In the mid-1970s, she was married to Dan Anderson and the couple made their home in Blair. As a first career, Ann attended cosmetology school, working out of her home for many years. Over the years she worked at Pick-A-Show Video, The Driftwood, MCI and Dana College before going into her career as a correctional officer working in Douglas County and Washington County. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers, rock painting, listening to music, watching movies and spending time with her family and friends.
Ann is survived by her children, Mike Anderson of Blair and Jeremy Anderson of Blair; grandchildren Hannah, Bridget and Daniel; brother Dave Denetelli; along with extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Dan Anderson; and brothers Timmy and Jimmy Denetelli. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
