NCC names all-conference boys basketball team

Fort Calhoun senior Grayson Bouwman headlined Washington County's inclusion on the recently released All-Nebraska Capitol Conference boys basketball team.
The first-team captain averaged 19.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. He is his school's all-time leading scorer and a past all-state honoree.
Trent Koger, meanwhile, represented Arlington on the conference's second team. The junior averaged a double-double this past season, scoring 15.2 points and pulling down 11.3 rebounds per game. He also blocked 3.7 shots each night.
AHS' Oliver Ladehoff and FCHS' Colby Bentley, however, were NCC honorable mention recipients. Bentley averaged 11.5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game this past season, while Ladehoff notched averages of 10.3 points and 3.2 rebounds with 2.6 assists.
NCC girls basketball honors, as well as the All-Eastern Midlands Conference basketball teams, were published within the March 12 edition of the Washington County Pilot-Tribune newspaper.
