The Fremont High School swim team hosted the Heartland Athletic Conference (HAC) meet Saturday at the Dillon Family Aquatic Center.
The Tigers — including the Arlington and Blair athletes who swim alongside FHS' athletes — did not, however, claim top-three team finishes on either the boys or girls side.
According to the Lincoln Journal Star, Lincoln East won the boys title, while Lincoln Southwest was second ahead of third-place Lincoln Pius X.
The Spartans also won the girls' title, scoring 403 team points. Lincoln Southeast was second and Southwest was third.
Jane Busboom of Blair notched the third-best 50-yard freestyle time of the HAC meet, according to maxpreps.com. She also secured the sixth-best time of the 100 freestyle across both prelims and finals.
Lizzie Meyer of Arlington, meanwhile, had the 14th-best 50 free style and the 19th-best 100 freestyle time of the weekend.
Meyer and Busboom's 200-yard medley relay produced the top time of the event, however. Ryleigh Schroeter of Blair and Charlotte Vech were members of the team, too.
Blair's Jacob Hanson swam the 10th-fastest time of the HAC event in the 100 freestyle, while also producing the 12th-best 100 breaststroke. He also swam on the Fremont 200-yard medley relay team that finished second behind East in 1:38.33.
Dathan Hansen, meanwhile, had the 34th-best time in the 100 freestyle out of 58 total attempts.
Fremont next competes Feb. 23-24 during the NSAA State Championships.
