The Fort Calhoun Junior Legion baseball team hosted its home tournament Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the town ballfields.
The Post 348 Pioneers opened the tourney with a 5-4, come-from-behind victory against Omaha Concordia. Coach Brandon Wynn said his team trailed 4-0 until the last half inning.
Tanner Jacobson notched a two-RBI double during the rally, while Sam Halford hit the walk-off single into the left-centerfield gap to finish off the Mustangs.
The tourney continued through the weekend before the Pioneers next compete tonight at Yutan. The Juniors game starts at 5:30 p.m. before the Seniors game at about 8.
The Fort Calhoun Senior Legion team is 3-2 this season. It last played June 1, beating Blair at Vets Field.
