BHS girls lose basketball game to No. 4 Titans

The Blair girls basketball team dropped an Eastern Midlands Conference road game Tuesday at Norris, 58-38.
The Class B No. 4 Titans (14-5 overall) led 28-16 at halftime and extended their lead from there against the 9-11 Bears. The game was BHS' second-to-last of the regular season with a Thursday night home game against Crete to go.
Kate Wulf knocked down three 3-pointers and led coach Matt Aschoff's team with 14 points. Addie Sullivan notched seven and freshman Kaitlynn O'Neil had six in defeat.
Twelve Norris players scored during their team's 20-point victory including Marlee Emerson and Ella Johnson, who led the way with eight points apiece.
Matchups and start times were unofficial as of press time, but BHS will next compete during the Class B-5 Subdistrict Tournament, which is to begin Monday and conclude Tuesday.
