AHS drops 11-1 softball game to Ashland

After a scoreless first inning Tuesday night, the Ashland-Greenwood softball team tallied six runs during the second and beat the visiting Arlington Eagles 11-1.
AHS coach Janelle Lorsch's team dropped to 5-4 in defeat, while the Bluejays improved to 5-3.
Trailing 8-0, the Eagles scored their first and only run during the top of the fourth frame. First, Cadie Robinson produced a one-out single. Then, with two outs, Sydney Magnino plated the catcher with her own hit.
Arlington was scheduled to play at home on Thursday and next competes Tuesday at Raymond Central.
