The Arlington boys basketball team will enter the postseason today on a four-game losing streak after Friday's 65-55 loss at No. 5 Omaha Concordia.
The Eagles (8-14 overall) have dropped games to Syracuse, Plattsmouth, Louisville and the Mustangs going into their 5:30 p.m. Class C1 Subdistrict 4 Tournament opener against top-seeded Wahoo. The Warriors are hosting the four-team tournament.
AHS' latest and final regular season defeat came despite a 21-9 fourth-period in the Eagles' favor. Concordia led 56-34 going into the final quarter and won by 10 to improve to 19-3.
Coach Tyler Spitser's team, meanwhile, fell to 8-14 in defeat.
Senior Logan Kaup led the Eagles in scoring with 15 points, while Nick Smith — another 12th-grader — scored 13. Their classmate, Frankie Rosenbalm, scored nine points, too.
Zach Alharithy and Justin Otten combined for 31 points for the Mustangs, who are hosting the C1-3 Tournament.
