We’re back with Washington County spring sports.
The layoff wasn’t long, but I know you've probably been waiting to see more Nannen Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week.
So, with no further ado, here they are.

Reece Ewoldt, Blair track and field: Congratulations are in order as the senior Bear broke a 26-year-old school record in the 1,600-meter run. In her first race of the new season, the future University of Nebraska-Kearney Loper clocked in at 5:12.73. Special recognition goes to Ewoldt’s fellow event winners last Thursday in Seward — Ethan Baessler, Reese Beemer, Greta Galbraith, Ryleigh Schroeter, Lainey Bilau and Kate Wolf — as well as soccer standout Brynn Ray, who score a hat trick at Lincoln Northwest.

Kevin Flesner, Arlington track and field: The Eagles senior set a meet record in Seward, too, finishing his 800-meter run in 2:05.56. He also won the 3,200 relay alongside Trey Hill, Dallin Franzluebbers and Nolan May. Special recognition also goes to Blaine Vogt, who had three RBIs in AHS’ baseball opener.

AJ Duros, Fort Calhoun baseball: AJ was a bunting machine Saturday against Twin River, turning two into singles before delivering a two-RBI single to centerfield as the Pioneers earned their first win. I’m pretty sure he stole a base or two in there, too. Special recognition goes to Carter Christensen, who also had two RBIs against the Titans, as well as FCHS’ 3,200-meter relay team — Seth Waters, Chris Post-Whiteowl, Will Dennis and Lawson Tjardes — who combined for their track team’s top finish to open the season. They were second.

Thanks for reading. Spring sports is off and running now, isn’t it?
