The latest Nannen Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week put together solid weekends on the wrestling mat.
Seth Waters, Blaise Baughman and Jake Flesner all finished tournaments unbeaten, impressing yours truly and, I assume, you.

Seth Waters, Fort Calhoun wrestling: The Pioneers won Omaha Northwest’s dual tournament Saturday, and Waters posted the best record. The 138-pounder went 4-0, securing three pins and a 5-3 decision. Special mention goes to TJ DeMilt and AJ Duros, who went 3-0, too.

Blaise Baughman, Blair wrestling: The Bears’ 175-pounder earned eight-straight wins across the Eastern Midlands Conference Duals in Waverly and the Rollin Dyer Invitational in Atlantic, Iowa. On Saturday, he went 4-0 with four pins that took less than 60 seconds to win his weight class.

Jake Flesner, Arlington wrestling: It was a tough decision picking which Eagles wrestler to name here. Flesner, a 113-pounder, gets the honor after going 4-0 during the Jack Murray Invite in Ashland. He had two pins, a technical fall and a pin. Kolton Gilmore gets special mention after a 3-0 day, while Braxton Soll unofficially set a school record for the fastest pin — 7 seconds.

Congrats to all those who excelled this past week. Thanks for reading.
