Recent frigid temperatures have created headaches for the City of Blair.
Al Schoemaker, Director of Public Works, said cold weather over the holidays led to three water main breaks in the city.
“The cold weather can certainly make for challenges for the city's water mains as the ground freezes and moves, causing water main breaks,” he said. “(Three) is a high number for such a short time for Blair.”
