Libby Long is filled with gratitude before the holidays.
To show it, the Blair realtor invited past clients to pick up a free pie Nov. 21 — just two days before Thanksgiving Day — at Scooter's Coffee. She described it as “a way to give back.”
Long purchased 50 pies for the occasion, giving her patrons the option of apple or pumpkin. Maggie Valasek provided a helping hand setting up and distributing the holiday treats as enthusiastic people stopped inside the Blair coffee shop to pick their's up. Couples, individuals and children all came by before leaving with a festive pie.
