Washington Co Board of Equalization The Board met in regular session at 3:00 pm on Tue, April 11, 2023, in the Supervisor’s meeting room at the Courthouse in Blair. Present: Chairman Steve Dethlefs, Co Board Members Jon Stewart, Lisa Kramer, Bob Frahm, Jay Anderson, Kevin Barnhill, and Steve Kruger. Also present, Co Clk Barb Sullivan, Assr Robin Andreasen, Dpty Assr Lacy Johnson, Shrf Mike Robinson, and Co Atty Scott Vander Schaaf. Board unanimously approved the agenda for 4/11 and the minutes of the 3/28/23 meeting. Board unanimously approved Valuation Correction #1247 as presented by the Assr. Board unanimously approve Valuation Changes 890028525, 890086686, 890019362, 890058079, & 890058086 as presented by the Assr. Blair City Admn Rod Storm discussed Protest of Taxable Assessor’s Notice of Taxable Status for parcel 890089042 and stated that it is considered waste ground and has no value. The board discussed at length and then voted to deny request to change Assr’s Taxable Status for BC South 10th St Outlot A, parcel 890089042 with 6 members voting aye, Stewart voting nay.
