Thomas “Tanker” Lynn Gilliland, age 62 of Blair, passed away Nov. 12, 2023. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. A graveside service will follow in the Blair Cemetery.
Tom was born April 12, 1961 in Blair, Neb. He attended and graduated from Blair High School in 1979. At a young age, Tom was a paperboy and also worked at Little Duffer. He spent over 30 years working for the Washington County Roads department, retiring in 2020. Tom loved watching action movies, classic cars, woodworking, tool collecting and taking care of his family.
Tom is survived by his mother Mary; siblings: Lyle (Angie) Gilliland and Marsha Gilliland; sister-in-law Connie Gilliland; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Edward “Jack”; siblings: Roger and Bruce; and several extended family members.
