After a first-round win last Saturday, the Blair girls soccer team lost Tuesday's Class B Subdistrict 3 semifinal at Omaha Duchesne, 3-1.
The Bears fell to 7-8 despite a first-half goal by junior Sally Kies, who was assisted by senior Sami Murray in Omaha. The top-seeded Cardinals, meanwhile, improved to 13-3.
Coach Brandon Palmer's team must now wait for Class B District Finals pairings to be released at the conclusion of the state's subdistrict tourneys. If it qualifies for a final by wild card points, BHS can still qualify for the state tournament with a win.
