The Blair boys soccer team played its last match of the spring Wednesday evening.
The Bears dropped their Class B Subdistrict 5 Final at South Sioux City, 1-0. Coach Curt Scott's team fell to 4-9 in defeat, while the Cardinals improved to 7-8 and advanced to the district finals round.
The subdistrict's top seed scored the game's lone goal by penalty kick during the 15th minute. BHS pushed to tie the match into the final minutes, but was unable to score.
The Bears end their season with wins against Omaha North, The Platte, Elkhorn and Madison. Seniors Jacob Czapla, Kip Tupa, Elias Cortez, Andres Iniguez, Zyler Wyman, James Dobbins, Tyler Schroder and Mark Donner played their final high school match in South Sioux City.
