Blair golfer tops Junior Golf standings
Blair golfer Brody Deutschman leads the nine-hole tour standings of Nebraska Junior Golf's boys' 7-8 age division.
The youngster has won three of the four rounds he's played as of Thursday, scoring 195 points toward the standings. Max Nannen of Lincoln is second, winning two rounds on his own tour trips.
Nebraska Junior Golf recently promoted Deutschman's efforts on social media, noting a recent 3-under-par round — 33 strokes. The Blair golfer was bogey free and sunk two birdie shots to card his season low.
Brock Deutschman, meanwhile, is fifth in the boys' age 9-11 division. He's shot the low score of both of the tour stops he's made.
Fort Calhoun High School golfer Abbey Lienemann, meanwhile, made her Nebraska Junior Golf debut recently, playing 18 holes in the girls' age 16 and older division.
