The Washington County Fair begins Friday in Arlington with sporting events to follow.
After band Pecos & the Rooftops plays the main fairgrounds arena on the first day of the six-day event, the annual Granite & Marble Interiors Washington County Fair Rodeo takes centerstage Saturday. It starts at 7 p.m. with an encore performance Sunday at the same time.
In-between rodeos, the Mud Volleyball Tournament takes place 10 a.m. Sunday on the west end of the fairgrounds.
Next Monday's C & C Complete and VSE Antique Tractor & Pickup Pull starts at 5 p.m. before the 6 p.m. Golden Harvest Tractor Pull on Aug. 2. Lastly, the Olsen Auto Demolition Derby closes out the fair with a 7:30 p.m. start Aug. 3. Omaha band Lemon Fresh Day will play at the conclusion of the derby, too.
