Sandra Renee Kook, age 59, of Omaha, Neb., passed away peacefully on April 18, 2023, with her son and other family at her side in Banning, Calif., where she resided with her aunt, Betty Bowman.
Sandi was preceded in death by her husband, Leland John Kook, and step-father, Frank Swihel. Survived by her parents, Ronald Sum and Alice Swihel and son Adam Sum (Shelby); sisters, Karen Morse and Megan Schroeder; and brother, Chris Sum.
She will be missed greatly by many as she was called home far too soon. We ask that if you would like to pay your respects to join us Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at the Omaha National Cemetery for a small remembrance ceremony where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
