REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Sealed Proposals for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the construction of “Adams Street Corridor Group B,” will be received by the City Clerk at 110 S. 14th St., Fort Calhoun, NE 68023 until 2:00 pm on the 5th day of January 2023, and thereafter be reviewed and scored. The work is generally described as follows: •Construction of a park restroom and shelter at the Adams Street Plaza All Proposals shall comply with the “Proposal Requirements for Adams Street Corridor Group B” as provided by the City Engineer digitally upon request. Copies of the documents are on file with the City of Fort Calhoun for examination and include a copy of the proposed form of agreement between the CMAR and the city and criteria to be utilized for the selection of the CMAR. Complete digital project documents are available upon request of the City’s Engineer, Lucas Billesbach of Embris Group via email at lucasbillesbach@embrisgroup.com, phone at 402.319.5951, or via written letter sent to 963 N 13th Street, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023. In order to propose on the project, the documents must be issued directly by the City Engineer. The Construction Manager at Risk selected by the City will enter into a Construction Manager at Risk contract with the City to furnish labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and construction services for the Project. This process is pursuant to the Nebraska Statutes Sections 13-2901 to 13-2914, also referenced as the Political Subdivision Construction Alternative Act (the ‘Act’) and adopted by the City via Resolution 2017-7. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on proposals which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion serve the best interests of the Owner, and also reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals.
