Due to COVID-19 pandemic precautions, the annual Blair Spring Sing programs for grades K- 5  at all three primary schools and Arbor Park Intermediate School were recorded and will be available to the families of the students through private YouTube links.
This year's Spring Sing theme at Deerfield was based off of the book, "The Day The Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywalt.  The story is about a boy named Duncan and how he one day discovered a stack of letters from his crayons.  Each crayon writes to Duncan about something that has been bothering them.

In the end, Duncan decides to take action upon the crayons' concerns and he draws a picture using the crayons in a way that would make the crayons happy.

In the musical production, several Deerfield teachers read the letters from the crayons. After each letter, the students sang a song, performed a movement or utilized body percussion that related to that crayon color.

The final song was “Rainbow Connection.” Each grade level sang a different verse from the song.
