The Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 is now available for individuals 12 and older at walk-in clinics, including in Washington County, the Three Rivers Public Health Department announced Wednesday.

The walk-in clinics are held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at First Lutheran Church in Blair.

Those wanting vaccines should register at vaccinate.ne.gov prior to their arrival.

To date, 50.14% of the Three Rivers health district population, 16 years of age and older, is fully vaccinated.

“While it is exciting to have reached this checkpoint, we still have a way to go,” executive director Terra Uhing said. “If you have not yet been vaccinated and are able, please do so.”

Methodist Fremont Health, Memorial Community Hospital and Health System, Saunders Medical Center, Ashland Pharmacy, Scriber Drug Store and Three Rivers have administered 48,691 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine so far.
