Kris A. Robinson, age 66 of Blair, passed away at his home Feb. 28, 2024. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Kris was born Oct. 28, 1957, in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Robert and Marie Robinson. He attended school in Moorehead, Iowa until his sophomore year and then attended and graduated from Lyons, Neb. After high school he farmed for a few years with his father then worked for Robinson Electric from 1979 to 1983. He then began working for the City of Blair managing the Old Blair Apartments and when they closed the apartments down, he started with the Blair Street Department, working there for about 16 years. Kris then began working for Washington County as the building inspector. He worked there for 23 years until his retirement in November of 2022 due to health issues. Kris’s hobbies included shooting and fishing.
Kris is survived by his wife Tami Robinson, children; Frank (Jennifer) Robinson, Sheena Robinson (Luke Kelley) and Nicci Robinson, grandchildren; Jenna, Joey, Ayonna, Orion, Delray and Ivy, his father Robert (Marian) Robinson, siblings; Jesse (Sherry) Robinson, Kevin (Barb) Robinson and Kara Schluppe, along with nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Marie.
