Judy Ellen (Jones) Stork was born Aug. 5, 1941, to Wallace and Maude (Kephart) Jones. Judy graduated from Blair High School. Following graduation she married Ronald Gene Stork on Aug. 1, 1959 at First Lutheran Church. To this union they welcomed two children: Shari and Scott. Judy was active at First Lutheran Church as a Sunday School teacher as well in many women’s groups.

Judy was a farm girl at heart and partook in many of the jobs that came along with living in the country. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning and putting up corn. She was known for not letting anything go to waste, often enjoying as much of the fresh peach harvest as she could. She also helped with the family harvest and butchering, creating many family memories and sharing family secrets. Judy was a talented sewer, winning many awards in 4-H and as an adult most notably for her “Make It With Wool” creations. She passed her knowledge along to not only her family but others as a 4-H leader and in many club organizations including the Can Do Club.

Judy loved to be a hostess, always wanting to have people over and take care of people. When Judy wasn’t busy making something, she loved her time on the river and boating. She enjoyed dinners out and playing cards. For many years Ron and Judy were “snowbirds” spending winters in warmer weather in Peoria, Ariz.

Judy is survived by her children: Shari (Scott) McCain of Fremont, Scott (Nancy) Stork of Orum; grandchildren: Derek (Anna) Stork, Lindsey (Mike) Kindler, Jarret (Katlynn) Stork, Lucas (Olivia) McCain and Justin (Bailey) Stork; great grandchildren: Parker, Brooks and Aniston McCain, Brinley, Ashlyn and Clayton Kindler, Scott Levi Stork, Stetson and Saylor Stork, Landry and Laramie Stork; sister Sue (Dave) Barker; siblings-in-law Donna Stork, Susan Bensen, and Jancie (Tom) Lippincott; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Ron, parents Wallace and Maude Jones, parents-in-law Everett and Verna Stork, brother Russ Jones, brother-in-law Roger Stork and Jim Bensen.

Memorials may be directed the family for later designation.
