James “Jim” Harry Erwin, 88, of Kearney, Nebraska (formerly of Blair), passed away on Oct. 24, 2023 at Kearney Regional Health Center. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Kay Erwin; children Vicki and (Doug) Roeder of Kearney, Jim and (Denise) Erwin and Lisa Jelden; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Jim was born Sept. 10, 1935, in Craig, Neb.
To honor Jim’s memory, the family will be holding a celebration of life open house on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023 at the American Legion Club, 103 S. 12th St. in Blair from 4–7 p.m. We invite anyone who knew him to attend. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please just bring a story to share with the family. They invite anyone who knew him to attend.
