The Blair boys basketball season ended Monday at the conclusion of the Class B-1 District final game at Omaha Skutt.
The top-seeded Skyhawks never trailed, beating coach Chris Whitwer’s Bears 72-42. BHS went 10-13 this season with a 2-1 postseason record.
Greyson Kay scored all 12 Blair points during the fourth quarter, finishing with a team-high 15 overall. Bo Meier added 14 total points and Crayton Macholan scored eight.
Skutt, meanwhile, was led by Jake Brack who scored a game-high 17 points.
The Bears’ loss marks the end of the winter sports season for all three Washington County high schools. Spring sports practices also began Monday.
