Bruce Alan Gilliland, age 66 of Blair, passed away Aug. 28, 2023. A celebration of life will be held Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Reach Church in Blair, Neb. Graveside service will follow in the Blair Cemetery.
Bruce was born Sept. 28, 1956 in Blair, Neb. He attended and graduated from Blair High School in 1975.
Over the years, Bruce worked in the kitchen and custodial department of several different businesses including Crowell Home, Good Shepherd, Dana and Midland College. Bruce enjoyed concerts, 1960’s T.V. shows, movies and trivia; he especially enjoyed spending time socializing. He was an active member of Reach Church and was always willing to lend a hand at church events.
He is survived by his mother Mary; siblings: Lyle (Angie) Gilliland, Tom Gilliland, Marsha Gilliland, sister-in-law Connie Gilliland; best friend Mike Jenny; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward “Jack,” brother Roger and extended family members.
