BREAKING: Body of missing woman recovered from Missouri River

Boat sank late Sunday near Blair


The body of a missing woman was recovered from the Missouri River Thursday morning.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources recovered the body of Emma Olsen, 20 of Omaha, at 8:30 this morning, Harrison County Emergency Management said in a release.

Olsen was reported missing after a boat sank on the Missouri River near Tyson Bend Wildlife Area near Blair on the Iowa side of the river shortly before midnight on May 29. The boat was recovered on Tuesday morning.

The investigation is ongoing and additional were not immediately available. Check back with the Enterprise as more information becomes available.
