Blair Little League hosted Nebraska Northern Area Tournament games Friday through Sunday on Wederquist Field. Keystone Little League, South Sioux Little League and the hometown All-Star teams competed across Minors and Majors divisions with state tournament spots on the line. Blair started its weekend Friday with a 1-1 split against Keystone. First, the Blair All-Stars won the Minors game, 11-6. Rain clouds drifted over the Youth Sports Complex, but the teams were able to complete their bout. Then, during the Majors portion of the first-day schedule, Keystone picked up an 11-4 victory. The Northern Area Tournament continued Saturday with games between South Sioux and Keystone before Blair was to take on South Sioux on Sunday. Results for the latter two contests will appear in Friday's Washington County Enterprise.
