The age 10 and younger Blair Grizzlies baseball team hosted a tournament last weekend at the Blair Youth Sports Complex.
The Grizzlies went 3-1 in tourney games, securing a second place finish. Teams from Arlington, Omaha, Lincoln, Ashland and Wayne all took part.
In another tournament at the former Dana College baseball fields, the Blair Cubs' 11U squad hosted its own tournament — the Bash. The home team went 2-1 during it.
According to the organization's Facebook page, the Cubs' 10U squad is 5-3 this season, too, after a recent 9-1 win against the Omaha Gross Jr. Cougars, while the (U team went 2-2 during the weekend's Bennington tourney.
