Platteview and Platte Valley earned wins against the Arlington High School baseball team Monday and Tuesday.
The losses dropped the Eagles to 4-16 overall. Their last victory came April 12 against Louisville.
On Monday, Arlington stuck with 10-9 Platteview until it couldn't any longer. The Trojans scored nine ninth-inning runs at the Washington County Fairgrounds, topping coach Tyler Stender's squad 13-4 in extra innings.
AHS had forced the eighth and ninth frames with four combined runs during the sixth and seventh. Tanner Kyllo notched two RBIs, while Luke Sharp and Killian McIntosh had one apiece.
Altogether, Sharp was 3-for-3 with a double. Kyllo, McIntosh, Andy Misfeldt and Luke Ott had hits in defeat, too.
Against the Patriots on Tuesday, though, Arlington managed just two hits. Blaine Vogt and Oliver Ladehoff earned them.
Jackson Stosich suffered the pitching loss despite totaling seven strikeouts across 4 1/3 innings. His team next hosts Wahoo 4:30 p.m. today before 1 p.m. Saturday road game at Louisville.
