Weather cut into the Blair American Legion baseball teams' time on the field Monday and Tuesday.
The Post 154 Juniors' game against Elkhorn Mount Michael was cut short by storms Monday before neither the Juniors or Seniors made the trip to Ashland for a doubleheader Tuesday evening. Both teams, however, were scheduled to be back in action Wednesday against Beatrice at Vets Field. Results from those games — and the weekend's tournaments in Omaha, Springfield and Bellevue — will appear in next Tuesday's Washington County Pilot-Tribune.
Last Monday, however, the Blair Juniors played two full innings before storms rolled in over Vets Field, forcing an end to the game during the top of the third frame. Post 154 trailed Mount Michael 4-0 when the matchup was called off before its completion.
