Washington Co Board of Equalization The Board met in regular session at 3:00 pm on Tue, July 26, 2022, in the Supervisor’s meeting room at the Courthouse in Blair. Present: Chairman Steve Dethlefs, Co Board Members Lisa Kramer, Jordan Rishel, Bob Frahm, Jay Anderson, Kevin Barnhill, and Steve Kruger. Also present, Co Clk Barb Sullivan, Assr Steve Mencke, and Co Atty Scott Vander Schaaf. Board unanimously approved agenda for 7/26 and the minutes of the 7/18/22 meeting. Board unanimously approved Valuation Correction #1227 as presented by the Assr. Colleen Tess discussed Protest of Rejection of Homestead Exemption which was tabled from last meeting. Co Atty Vander Schaaf stated he agreed with Assr to in his decision to deny exemption. Board voted unanimously to concur with Assr and reject Homestead Exemption.
