VILLAGE OF KENNARD BOARD OF TRUSTEES HEARING FOR THE ONE AND SIX YEAR ROAD & STREET PLAN March 5, 2024 7:00 p.m. A hearing for the One and Six Year Road and Street Plan was held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Kennard, Nebraska at the Village Office on March 5, 2024. Board Chairperson Lanette Morgan called the hearing to Order at p.m. Present were Lanette Morgan, Bob Dunkle and Meghan Eulberg and clerk Kathryn Doll. Notice of the hearing was given in advance by publication in the Enterprise Newspaper, a designated method for giving notice as shown by the Affidavit of Publication attached to the minutes. Notice of this hearing was posted at three locations in the Village; the Village office, the US Post Office, and the Village Of Kennard Facebook page. The availability of the agenda was communicated in advance and in the notice to the Board of Trustees of this meeting. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. Board Chair Lanette Morgan noted the postings of the Open Meetings Act as available in the Village Office. Among discussion for the Village’s One and Six Year Road and Street included the following: One Year - Concrete Patching various locations as needed budget 80,000.00. Six Year - Normal Maintenance (pavement patching in various locations) Est. 40,000.00 Armor Coating (Main Street 2nd to 5th) Est. 45,000.00 1st St. and Main remove and replace pavement. Est 80,000.00 Resolution 2024-4 to approve the One and Six Year road plan was introduced by Pearson, Seconded by Eulberg. Resolution passed 5-0. Residents commented on areas needing patched. Dunkle acknowledged, Maintenance Supervisor will be notified. Seeing no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:11 p.m. ZNEZ ENT 03-15-24
