Spartans play again Sunday

Neither Washington County town team baseball squad competed in its most-recently scheduled games.
Russ Nelsen confirmed that the Blair Dawgs' Sunday contest against the Islanders was rained out. They won't play their next Omaha Adult Baseball League (OABL) game until July 13 when they host the Dodgers at 10:30 a.m. at Vets Field.
The Arlington Spartans' June 26 game was postponed, too, according to the Dodge County Baseball League website. They next play 2 p.m. Sunday at North Bend, though.
Both the Spartans and Dawgs have multiple games ahead in July. The Blair team will play 3:30 p.m. July 20 against the Braves at Omaha Buena Vista before a July 27 OABL game against the Twins at Papio Bay.
In addition to Sunday's game, Arlington will play at Wahoo's Sam Crawford Field on July 10 at 7:30 p.m. before a 7 p.m. home game against the Scribner Hogs on July 13. On July 20, they play in West Point, too, before the Dodge County Fair Tournament begins July 31.
