The Blair High School boys basketball team was unable to keep pace with Class B's top unit Friday night.
Omaha World-Herald No. 1 Norris bested the Bears on their home floor convincingly, 87-47. The Titans improved to 12-1 with the win, while BHS dropped to 5-6.
Coach Chris Whitwer's Blair team was within seven points, 22-15, after one period, but started to slip behind during the second. Norris held a 44-27 advantage at halftime and built its lead out to 34 points with a 32-15 third quarter.
Bo Meier led the Bears in defeat with 17 points, while Kalan Steinbeck added 10.
Chris Garner Jr., meanwhile, led the 11 Titans who scored with 19 points. Cooper Rice and Evan Greenfield added 11 apiece, too.
BHS next competes 7:30 p.m. today at Harlan, Iowa, before a 7:30 p.m. road game Thursday at Crete.
