Timm scores 19 as AHS girls beat Wahoo

Eagles basketball team is 5-1

Point guard Emme Timm scored 19 points Dec. 20 as the Arlington girls basketball team went into the holiday break with a 41-28 win against Wahoo.
The junior was 8-for-8 from the foul line at home as the Eagles improved to 5-1 overall. She made a 3-point bucket during the third period and finished with four 2-point makes as well.
Britt Nielsen, meanwhile, added 10 points for the Eagles, while Macy Wolf had seven. Valeria Carvajal, Libby Hegemann and Hailey O'Daniel combined for five points, too, rounding out AHS' scoring.
The Warriors' Gretchen Seagen notched 16 points, but her team fell to 3-3 in defeat.
Coach Tashia Wolf's Arlington squad, meanwhile, next competes Monday during Lincoln Lutheran's annual home tournament. The Eagles open play 1 p.m. against Platteview.
