FCHS falls 1 point short
After a 60-33 postseason win against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on Monday, the Fort Calhoun boys basketball season came to a close Tuesday at West Point-Beemer.
The Pioneers fell 37-36 to the top-seeded Cadets, missing a potential game-winner at the buzzer. FCHS, which was led by Adam Elofson’s 12 points, closes the year 13-11 overall — the senior class’ fourth-consecutive winning season.
