Steven W. Hunt, age 59 of Fremont, died peacefully on April 15, 2024, at Fremont Methodist Hospital. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday April 22, 2024, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held April 23, 2024, at 9 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. The interment will be held at the Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery in Bassett, Neb.
Steven was born on May 24, 1964, in Norfolk, Neb.
He was preceded in death by parents, Emma (Bruns) and Richard W. Hunt, brothers, William Neal Hunt and Kenneth Richard Hunt, and sister, MaryAnn Hunt.
Steven is survived by brothers; Dick (Nancy) Hunt, Boise, Idaho, Bob Hunt, Long Pine, Neb.; sisters, Lorelee Byrd, Arlington, Neb., Marcy (Paul) Shimada, Whidbey Island, Wa.; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. The family wishes to publicly thank ALL of the wonderful caregivers that Steven had during his 59 years with us. Especially, Harold Boudrau, Remie Virata and Patrico Virata and also a special thanks to Teresa Bubbert. You provided fun, guidance and love during Steven's life and we are eternally grateful to you and to all of his caregivers.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, memorials are suggested to the Special Olympics.
