Sharon Siert Madsen, 83

Sharon Siert Madsen of Surprise, Ariz., passed away on April 1, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sharon was born Aug. 25, 1940, to Robert and Dorothy Siert of Blair.

Her life's passion was for the love of her husband (and their 66 years of marriage) and the love of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She also loved photography and travel.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Madsen.

She is survived by her husband Robert; her two sons, Mike of York, Neb., and Jeff of Blair, Neb.; her grandchildren, Kylie (Travis) Stuhr of York, Neb., Bryan (Kirstie) Madsen of Lincoln, Neb., Jake (Katie) Tiede of Fargo, N.D., Justin (Sydney) Caldwell of Blair, Neb.; and her five great-grandchildren, Tavin, Leland, Henri, Sullivan and Karson. She also has one sister: Barbera Sandvold of Blair, Neb.

She also leaves behind many relatives and lots of great friends.

A memorial service will be held at Campbell Aman Funeral Home Saturday June 1 at 1 p.m. Graveside service will be at Blair Cemetery immediately after the memorial service.

There will be a celebration of life at the Blair Legion on Saturday, June 1, also at 2 p.m. Come and help us celebrate Sharon's life.
