A semi driver was not severely injured after he lost control, causing the vehicle to veer into the shoulder and become jackknifed, near 25th and Fontenelle streets Thursday afternoon.
The Blair Police Department helped direct traffic and Blair Volunteer Fire Department assisted with clean-up and tending to the driver.
Capt. Travis Lyon said the driver had a few injuries after the accident, though he was out of the semi and walking around when rescue personnel arrived on scene.
