Jack Schroeder and Rylan Olsen led 10 Blair High School golfers Monday during a quadrangular at Oakland Golf Club.
Schroeder carded a team-low 45 strokes across nine holes for the varsity lineup, while Olsen took 46 swings in the Bears' junior varsity victory against Fremont Bergan, Cedar Bluffs and Oakland-Craig. Altogether, the JV BHS lineup — which included Justin Bird, Justin Kramer, Wyatt Gunderson and Truman Stanley — finished with 219 strokes. It was one less than second-place Cedar Bluffs.
In addition to Olsen's low score, Bird took 51 swings and Gunderson had 59. Kramer and Stanley each carded 63 swings.
Coach Ross Udey's varsity lineup, meanwhile, finished with 203 strokes across nine holes for fourth. Bergan earned first during the quad with just 174.
Schroeder led the way for Blair followed by Degan Dresden, who shot a 48. Jacob Hanson and Nolan Wolfe each finished with 55 strokes, while Aaron Hinman carded 56.
Bergan's Boston Bojanski shot the day's course-low — 40.
The Bears were scheduled to compete Thursday at Ashland Country Club and next play 18 holes Tuesday during their home invite at River Wilds Golf Club. The tourney tee time is 9 a.m.
