Robert Charles Everhart, age 75 of Blair, passed away Jan. 23, 2024 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Bob was born Jan. 4, 1949 in Orchard, Neb., the son of Marion and Catherine (Edwards) Everhart. He was raised in Blair, Neb., and graduated from Blair High School. After high school, Bob enlisted in the United Stated Navy. He served until the passing of his father in 1969. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Bob returned to Blair. Bob will always be remembered by his family and friends as a hard worker with longevity in every job he had. Bob had a passion for horse racing and was an avid sports fan. His family was always at the forefront of his life, he enjoyed nothing more than being an uncle.
Bob is survived by his brother Richard Everhart; nieces and nephews: Barbara Everhart of Oklahoma, Marion Everhart of Fremont, Holly (Chris) Baker of Blair, Laura (Jared) Tighe of Blair, Aaron Everhart of Hooper, and Dallas Flynn of Blair, along with great nieces and nephews, extended family, and many lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Everhart.
