RE:TO ALL TOWNSHIP BOARD MEMBERS: The Washington County Board of Supervisors will be meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 11, 2023, to discuss the “Contract for 2023-2024 Road Work.” Washington County Board of Supervisors would like to have at least one (1) or all representatives from each Township Board to be present at this meeting. One of the items on the agenda with the Township Board is the rate per mile that will be charged each Township this next fiscal year. If at all possible, we would like for each Township Representative or Chairman to bring the enclosed contract to the Board Meeting with he or she on the above date. Contracts will be given to each member of the Township Board but only one signed contract needs to be returned to Washington County Road Department for our files. Copies of the contract will be given to Barb Sullivan, Washington County Clerk and one copy to the Nebraska Department of Roads, (which is required by law). Any questions that you may have concerning this contract may be addressed at that time. Remember the Date: Tuesday July 11, 2023, @ 3:15 p.m. in the Supervisors Room at the Washington County Courthouse. Contracts will be sent along with this notice to each Township Board.
