The Arlington High School volleyball lost its 18th match Tuesday.
The host Raymond Central Mustangs won it in three sets, 25-13, 25-10 and 25-12. The loss dropped the Eagles to 6-18 overall.
AHS, however, scored the first point of the match on Hayley Arp's kill off of a Mustang. From there, though, the home team comfortably took a 1-0 lead with the set win.
The Eagles also led the second set 2-0 when Raymond Central hit the ball long and Rylie Kyllo notched a cross-court kill. The hosts quickly changed their fortunes, though, and ultimately won the set and the match.
Arlington was scheduled to host Douglas County West on Thursday and next plays during the Nebraska Capitol Conference Tournament next week. Matchups were unavailable as of press time.
