NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Notice is hereby given that the County Clerk of Washington County will receive bids until Tuesday April 9, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. for Asphalt Patch/Overlay for various areas approximate Patching of 14117 SF/ 563 Tons and Overlay of P35 99040 SF/1885 Tons. Bids to be submitted on the proposal forms in accordance with Plans & Specifications on file in the Office of the Washington County Road Department located southwest of Blair, NE at 8845 Berry Hill Road. As evidence of good faith in submitting a proposal for this work, the bidder must file with his proposal, cash; certified check or bid bond made payable to the County Clerk in the sum of 10% of his bid, all of which shall be placed in a sealed envelope so marked as to indicate its contents without being opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Surety Bond in an amount of 100% of the contract, a “Certificate of Insurance,” from the contractor is required and shall accompany proposal for the bid to be considered. The Board of Supervisors of Washington County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to add or subtract projects with or without reason.
